Now this feels kind of like the middle part to 'Wake Up'... lovely flair & again that dreamy feel.
Guitar work is sweet & sensational for sure... but... we need more!!!
So... I would put these two pieces together & add some more to make one fantastic song!!!

I have to agree with aorpete! I listened to the other first, and now this! Nice guitar work and it sounds like part of Wake up! Can we get a 2-3 minute piece from this! Would def have nice substance to it!

Step 1: You really need something better to record with-- do you have a microphone at all? And you could download and use Audacity, the free version, to make your recordings.
Step 2: This is a kernel, as you state in your notes, an idea. Fill it out, maybe mix it with the other track, but fill it out.
Step 3: Keep playing, keep working on these tracks. And there are lots of helpful people here if you need advice or help.
Step 4: Have fun! I think you're going to like it here!

Instead of Audacity i would say youd download the free kristal. And get a better mic.
Its a nice idea, but i really cant comment any further on it since i hardly hear whats on it.

Nice feel.
As far as recording equipment and software goes, IMHO I think you should try ALL the free stuff before you make any decision.
Find what works best for you. And THEN you will more likely know if you need to spend any money on commercial stuff.
Keep rockin'

I was drawn to this one, because 1) It's not a cover; B) The title is intriguing, and Omega) I'm always curious as to what goes into the "Other" genre. What I got was just over a half minute of really charming, loose jamming accompanied by an understated chorus of the words "wake up", which is really thought-provoking in its simplicity and leaves a lot of room to personal interpretations...all of which is very cool, but I still don't see what it has to do with Woody, Arlo, or Nora Guthrie, or my old high school guidance counselor, Ms. Guthrie, who you’ve probably never met.
As I said, though, VERY cool.
